Fundraiser to Benefit Riverview Schools

 On September 26th, the Riverview Education Foundation will host its 11th annual Golf Classic, a benefit to raise money for teachers and schools in the Riverview School District. The tournament will be held at Trilogy Golf Club and will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 am, with a continental breakfast during registration, a buffet lunch and awards ceremony to follow. The tournament entry fee is $125.00.

This fun event draws participants from all over the valley, representing a wide spectrum of the Riverview community. It is open to golfers of any level of experience, from beginner to pro! All proceeds will be used to fund next year’s REF grants, which provide materials, equipment, and special programs for Riverview schools.

 REF Dinner Auction Raises Money and Awareness for Education

 

Riverview Education Foundation raised more than just money at the 2009 “Evening for Education Dinner Auction”. The gala hosted by REF sold out weeks before the third annual event. The record setting crowd made up of old and new attendees had an opportunity to learn about the foundation’s goal of providing a 21st century education for our students.   Please read on for more information about this signature event.



Congratulations to Bri Macadam and Sara Houser! 

On June 2, 2009 these graduating Riverview seniors each received a $2000 scholarship from the Riverview Education Foundation.  Bri and Sara were awarded these scholarships for their outstanding contributions to the Riverview School District. Money for these scholarships was raised during the annual “Fund a Scholarship” event held during REF’s  “An Evening for Education” Auction Dinner.   Thank you to all our supporters!
