This year’s tournament champions were the foursome consisting of Ray LaBate, David McLaughlin, David Tachell and Jeff Koch. Second Place honors went to the team of Roger Powell, Doug Hall, Ryan Brown and Neil Coy, while Third Place went to Steve and Olen Storaasli and Wayne and Ben Lerch. Longest Drive bragging rights went to Garrett Stephens for the men, Wendy Anderson for the women, and Thatcher Nixon for juniors; Closest to the Pin aces were John Anderson for men and Deb Stupfel for women; and Longest Putt honors went to Dave Storm. The “Split the Pot” ball drop winner was Alan MacDonald, who very generously donated his prize money back to the foundation! And our first annual RSD REF Cup winners were the team representing Cedarcrest High School: Ray LaBate, David McLaughlin, David Tachell, and Jeff Koch.
The Riverview Education Foundation is pleased to recognize returning sponsor CDK Construction and new sponsor Ericksson McGovern as Eagle Sponsors for this year’s tournament, as well as Heery International as a new Birdie Sponsor. of golf and fundraising for our community.
