See below for a list of some of the ways you can help.

Be JakeBe Jake!

Find your Inner Mascot! Fun-loving, outgoing and self -motivated volunteers needed to wear the Jake costume at a variety of community events! Jake is always paired with a REF Runs for Riverview Events Committee Member to act as a gobble, gobble translator. A great way for teens to earn those community service hours!

Health and Wellness ExpoHealth and Wellness EXPO

Volunteers are needed Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15.

  • Vendor Greeter/Helpers - greet and escort vendors to their locations, assist with equipment if needed.
  • Stage Performer Greeter/Helpers - greet and escort performers to their locations, assist with equipment if needed.
  • Trash Pickup - pick up trash throughout MPR and Gym areas.
  • Direct Traffic Flow - ensure a smooth loading and unloading Thursday evening and/or early Saturday for vendors.
  • Greeter - distribute wellness programs
Clean UpClean Up
  • Vendor Assistants - help vendors pack up their booths.
  • Course Take Down - take down course under direction of race committee.
  • Clean Up - clean up TMS grounds, track and surrounding trails, etc. Remove trash.

Fun Runs/Wild Turkey HuntFun Runs

From one hour to entire day on Saturday, November 15.

  • Registration - day of race registration, help distribute race numbers and Jake shirts.
  • Traffic/Parking Attendees - direct participants to parking lots on both sides of town, help direct traffic during race.
  • Race Course Marshals - direct runners along route. Keep runners safe.
  • Water Table Attendees - pass out water to runners.
  • Finish Chute Workers - assist Timing Company.
  • Results Runners - run results from timing tent to our race scorer for input.
  • Post Race Food Assistants - keep the post race munchies boxes full for hungry race participants after the events.

  • Mandatory Volunteer Training - Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Sno-Valley Senior Center, 4610 Stephens St. Carnation, WA.
  • Volunteers can expect to receive a confirmation email prior to the event. The email will state your assignment and contact information you will need.
  • Volunteers check in/out at the volunteer table in the TMS breezeway.
  • Volunteers will need to sign a Volunteer Release Form.

The Seahawks have their 12th man. The Riverview Educational Foundation had their 53 fans! Yes, 53 Red Wolves fans from a variety of  Riverview schools and sports teams came down to run the track throughout Friday night's rout of Lakewood to spread the word about the November 11th REF Runs for Riverview events.
